Ingredients

3 – 4 handfuls of baby spinach, washed
1 English cucumber, roughly sliced
1 apple, cored and cut into pieces
2 stalks of celery, washed
1 lemon, peeled and cut into chunks
A piece of ginger according to your personal preference

Instructions

Add the pieces of vegetables and fruit to a cold-press juicer and juice.

Alternatively, add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until juiced. Then strain the liquid through a milk bag or muslin cloth to remove the fibres. Discard the fibres.

Serve the green juice over a few ice cubes for a refreshing, gut-friendly drink.
